botger ("we", "us") is a chat bot and streamer dashboard for Blaze.stream. This page explains what data botger collects, why, and how it's used. botger is operated by an individual developer, not a company.

What botger does

botger connects to a streamer's Blaze.stream channel to provide chat bot features (keyword tracking, event announcements, OBS overlays, votes, games, and similar tools) and a web dashboard the streamer uses to configure those features. Optionally, a streamer can link chat from other platforms they also stream on (currently Twitch, YouTube, Rumble, and Kick) so that platform's live chat is displayed alongside their Blaze.stream chat in a single on-screen overlay.

Data we collect

Blaze.stream account data: channel ID, username, and chat messages sent in a channel botger is active in — used to run the bot's chat features in real time.
Dashboard session data: a session cookie identifying which channel dashboard you're logged into, and (if you set one) a hashed dashboard password. We never store dashboard passwords in plain text.
Preference cookies: your selected display language and mobile/desktop view preference, so the site remembers your choice on return visits.
Linked-platform data (only if you choose to link a platform):
- Twitch / YouTube: an OAuth access/refresh token scoped to read that platform's live chat, used only to relay chat messages into your overlay. We do not use these tokens to post, moderate, or take any other action on your behalf.
- Rumble: the private API URL you paste from your own Rumble account settings, used to poll for live chat messages.
- Kick: your Kick username, used to subscribe to that channel's public chat event feed via Kick's API.
- In all cases, the actual chat messages relayed from a linked platform are displayed live in your overlay and are not permanently stored beyond what's needed to avoid showing duplicates.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your data with third parties, other than the specific platform you explicitly choose to link (necessary to fetch that platform's chat on your behalf).
We don't collect payment information — botger does not process payments directly.
We don't require an email address to use botger's core features.

Your control over linked platforms

You can disconnect any linked platform (Twitch, YouTube, Rumble, Kick) at any time from your dashboard. Disconnecting immediately stops botger from reading that platform's chat and deletes the associated access token / link from our database.

YouTube / Google user data

botger's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we access: when you connect your YouTube channel, botger requests the youtube.readonly scope only. We use it solely to check whether your linked channel is currently live (liveBroadcasts.list) and, while it's live, to read that broadcast's live chat (liveChatMessages.list) so those messages can be shown in your overlay.
What we don't do: we never post, comment, moderate, upload, or modify anything on your YouTube channel, and we never use your YouTube data for advertising.
Deletion: disconnecting YouTube from your dashboard (Chat Overlay panel → Disconnect) immediately deletes your stored OAuth token from our database. You can also revoke botger's access directly from your Google Account permissions page at any time. To request deletion of any other data we may hold about your channel, contact us using the details below.

Dashboard settings and linked-platform connections are kept for as long as your channel uses botger. If you'd like your data deleted entirely, contact us using the details below.
